  • New job........no car........back to school..........(two years later).........New job....no car.....back to school........(two years later)........new job.....no car......back to school........I'm beginning to see strange patterns in my life........if i could just figure out what they are. Maybe it has something to do with my jobs......or my cars......or two years.....I'll probably never figure it out. Oh well. At least I get to start an awesome new job next month. Too bad about my awesome Jetta, though - May a flight of angels sing her to thy rest.....or something like that........We've had 4 salvations in the last two months in our church. two of them were saved last week. One of them had left his wife because he couldn't stand her being a christian.  While they were seperated, the Lord spoke to Him in a dream.  He returned to his wife, and recieved salvation. The spirit of God is really at work in our church. alot of things are changing and I'm really excited to see what's coming next.

I had kind of a weird dream last night.....I dreamt I was in front of a huge crowd of people with my guitar.  I was the last person up to perform and I wanted to play them one of the worship songs I had recently written. So, I picked up my acoustic guitar and began to play it. To my embarrassment, the guitar was terribly out of tune.  I asked the audience to bear with me for a sec while I tuned, but I couldn't get it.  Every time I tuned a string, another one went out.  This went on for a good three minutes until had tuned all of the strings at least once.  I grew more and more frustrated until finally, I decided something was wrong with it and picked up my electric. Same thing. Disappointed, people started to filter out and I was left alone on stage trying desperately to tune. After it was all over, I met some of my friends in the parking lot who consoled me and took me out to ice cream. Weird, huh? I think I'll run it by my pastor. He has a real gift for interpretations.

Alright then. I think i got the hang o dis. Just write stuff. Seems easy. Sooooo.....where to begin? What fun and exciting things are happening in my life? Hmmmm.......thinking is hard. Autumn is coming-cool weather, brown leaves, and the imminent, frigid death of winter looms over the coming 3 months. Not like sunny florida. Where it doesn't get below 55 and there's always a cool, gentle breeze blowing. Jerks. Actually, it's not so bad here. At least i get to wear hoodies. And my birthday is soon. The big 2-1. 3 more months and i'll be drinking like a champ (j/k). What else? i think i'm getting sick...or maybe i'm allergic to this candle...it stinks. Oh, Lillian, you gotta hook me up with more folks. i found issac's and that was about it. Anywyas....i think it's bed time. Long day tommorrow NOT working. Heh heh............

About Me

  • Well, not a whole to say...I'm a Christian, very involved in my church, LHCC (Living Hope Christian Church). I lead worship on sundays, co-lead the youth group, and i've also, along with one of the pastor's in the church (who is also one of my disciplers), have started a young adults' group which is appropriately named "The Group". I love the Lord and I thank Him everyday for considering me faithful enough to serve in His kingdom. Vocatioanally, with God's grace and mercy, I will persevere throught the next 4-5 years of full time school and full time work to become a high school chemistry teacher. Oh, and I also enjoy a good long game of Monopoly....(is that so wrong?)
